Michael Roberto is a web developer and entrepreneur living in North Carolina. In 2010 Michael co-founded Escape Hatch. As a developer, Michael have worked with a variety of companies, most recently as the Lead Web Developer at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina. Prior to relocating to North Carolina Michael was the Lead Developer of the Web Solutions group at the University of New Hampshire and a co-founded the design studio Alias Creative.

Michael began his career as a web developer and technical support manager for DePaul University in Chicago, IL. He has also worked as a Consultant for EnterAct (now RCN Corporation) also in Chicago, IL. Prior to founding Alias Creative, he was the Manager of Technical Development for SiteTRENDS, an internet consultancy based in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Michael graduated from DePaul University's School of Music in Chicago, IL, with a BS in Music from the Sound Recording Technology program. Michael aspired to combine his experience in web technologies with his passion for sound and motion and has since pursued these interested through his continued study in video production and photography.

Michael lives in Durham, North Carolina with his wife Sarah and their sons Jack and Will.
